Lars Fridell takes Boston

August 13, 2008 - 27 participants enjoyed a fun-filled day of table hockey competition at this year’s edition of the Boston Challenge 2008. Lars Fridell (Sweden) won the prestigious Boston Challenge trophy beating Kenny Dubois (USA), 4-1 in a very competitive and entertaining finals series. Reggie Stefaniszyn (Canada) and Matt Rogers (USA) were the semifinalists.

Russ Guertin (USA) won the B Group finals over Dana Rogers (USA) and 8 years old Luke Kiballa (USA) wins the C Group over Derek Koplin (USA).

This year’s tournament also featured some other very good and developing junior talent in the names of Cameron and Max Bernstein, Andrew Caponetti, Zak Kiballa (finished 14^th in the Elite group! And brother of Luke) and Alexander Sobrinski.

March 5, 2008 - We are pleased to finally announce the date for the 2008 Boston Challenge. It will again be held in the Athletic Center on the campus of Framingham State College (FSC), Framingham MA., on Saturday April 19^th. This site provides the BC organizers and players a comfortable and spacious place to play. Please sign up for the tournament on the registration page and review the two hotels within 3 miles of the venue that have reasonably priced rooms avail.
